Presentation of the Teacher
Born in 1988, Jill Eliot or Jillaine, studied environmental protection in agriculture. A specialization in Nature Animation led her to work on an educational farm in 2012, where she was introduced to the technique of needle felting wool alongside the children! Amazed by the infinite magic of this material and this highly creative technique, she made it her permanent career in 2014 and has since continued to offer workshops and improve her skills through practice.
La formation
Specializing in creating full-bodied animals and characters, Jill can also help you customize your fabrics or woolens (inlaying flat designs).
This technique is also accessible to children as young as 5; it's an activity where they can experiment with the material by sculpting it into the shape of their dream "soft toy". Ideal for family time, or as a one-off or regular activity for your children.
However, this technique is not suitable for making flat garments or felt for clothing.
Educational objectives of this course
Explore possible finishes (very fine and meticulous work can be achieved).
Improve previously acquired technique.
Attempt a larger volume (large object).
Customize a piece of fabric or wool.
Depending on your project, a half-day session may be sufficient, but a full day may also be recommended.

Half-day (INTRODUCTION):
2-hour workshop. Morning from 10:00 a.m. or afternoon from 1:30 p.m., depending on your preferences.
