This master class will be taught by Gladys Paulus, a professional artist specializing in felting. Gladys has a background in painting and fine art teaching and is based in the UK. She is an exhibiting member of 62 Gladys is a member of the Textile Artists Group and a member of the Crafts Council Selected Index of Makers. Her work straddles the worlds of fine art, traditional crafts and ritual, managing to find a space entirely its own and thus pushing the boundaries of the felt medium. 

His work is represented in the collection of the Tropenmuseum (Amsterdam). His commercial masks have been featured in theater, fashion magazines, television and film and are held in private collections across Europe and the United States.

Gladys' workshops and master classes are in high demand nationally and internationally. Over the years, she has taught over 1,000 textile enthusiasts and professionals. Over the years, she has adapted her workshop offerings to reflect both her personal development as an artist and the needs of her students. She is always looking to improve the way she conveys her knowledge and aims to be as flexible, open and responsive as possible in her teaching. She demands 100% commitment from her students and gives them 100% in return. 

Gladys is interested in the nature of the creative process and learning through experimentation and play, and she enjoys encouraging her students to adopt an experimental attitude. Likewise, his own techniques arise from experimentation and continue to develop and evolve as the nature of his artistic work evolves.
